About ComplyScope

Built for UK construction. Not adapted for it.

Everything you need to know before you decide.

Why ComplyScope exists

ComplyScope was built from 20+ years of hands-on HSEQ practice across UK construction, infrastructure, and energy projects. The knowledge embedded in the software comes from reviewing thousands of RAMS, safety statements, plant records, and contractor submissions — studying where gaps appear, why delays start, and where liability accumulates.

Construction document review is manual, rushed, and inconsistent. Under programme pressure, people scan paperwork when they should be reading it thoroughly. ComplyScope handles the first pass — not to replace professional judgement, but to give the duty holder structured, consistent output that is actually worth reviewing.

The software is calibrated against UK construction legislation — not adapted from a generic tool. It was designed around the duty-holder framework UK projects actually operate under. Documents enter through SharePoint, OneDrive, or direct upload. Gap reports come back. Every decision stays with the duty holder.

AI makes the process fast and consistent. Domain expertise makes it relevant. Human review keeps accountability where it belongs.

Why generic AI isn’t enough

Any AI tool can read a document. But reading it is not the same as knowing what it needs to contain. ComplyScope is calibrated specifically against current UK construction legislation — built by practitioners with deep site-level HSEQ expertise.

Legislative framework

ComplyScope checks every document against current UK construction legislation. The regulatory baseline cannot be switched off or overridden.

Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005Primary health and safety legislation. Safety statements, employer duties, duty holder obligations.
CDM Regulations 2015RAMS requirements, Principal Contractor duties, Fifth Schedule competency, site-specific obligations.
General Application Regulations (S.I. 299/2007)Chemical agents, hazardous substances, PPE, manual handling, work at height.
Current HSE guidanceStructure, content, site specificity and sign-off requirements for RAMS documents.
CSCS card (CITB)Validity, expiry, renewal requirements for all operatives on UK construction sites.
CSCS — Construction Skills Certification SchemeCard requirements by task type, Fifth Schedule trades, expiry tracking.

Investment

Engagements are priced against the cost of the risk being managed — not against what software typically costs.

Principal contractors — Full Suite

A Safety Advisor costs €40,000–€50,000 per year. ComplyScope replaces the most time-consuming part of their desk work — freeing them to be on site. Fewer review delays, fewer missed gaps, a defensible paper trail.

One prevented HSE prosecution pays for years of subscription fees.

Subcontractors — Compliance Register

Pricing is designed to work for SME contractors — the businesses most likely to lose contracts due to disorganised documentation.

One recovered contract pays for the software.

Questions buyers ask first

Is this an AI system?
Yes. ComplyScope uses AI to read and parse compliance documents. Every finding is checked against a manually maintained library of current UK construction legislation. The AI handles the reading — the legislation library handles the standard.
Does ComplyScope approve or sign off documentation?
No. ComplyScope identifies gaps and flags them for review. Every approval and sign-off decision remains with your appointed duty holder. The software never passes or fails a document.
How is this different from an audit?
An audit is a formal inspection by a competent person with legal standing. ComplyScope is a document review tool that identifies gaps before a document is approved. It supports your audit trail — it does not replace it.
I already have a Safety Advisor. Why do I need this?
ComplyScope handles the first-pass document review — the most time-consuming part of a Safety Advisor’s desk work. It frees them to be on site rather than at a desk reading paperwork. It does not replace professional judgement.
How does it handle AI errors or hallucinations?
Every finding is cited against a specific regulation. If a finding cannot be cited, it is not included in the report. Your duty holder reviews every output before any action is taken — the software is designed so a missed gap is caught at review, not acted on unchecked.
How does the software connect to my document workflow?
Documents can be uploaded directly through the dashboard, or the software can connect to a designated SharePoint or OneDrive folder. New documents dropped into the folder are processed automatically. No change to your existing workflow is required.

This report identifies gaps detected against current UK legislative requirements at the time of assessment. It does not constitute approval, sign-off, or verification of compliance. Responsibility for document review and approval remains with the duty holder. ComplyScope operates in accordance with EU AI Act transparency requirements.
